Introduction of the PicoClock sample code

The PicoClock instrument in the Teradyne FLEX tester is capable of generating a four-phase clock signal up to 1 GHz with an RMS jitter of less than 2 ps. It consists of a phase-locked loop (PLL) which receives an input reference clock signal at a lower frequency, which is generated using the high-speed-digital (HSD) instrument in the FLEX tester, and generates an output signal at a higher frequency. The ratio between the output frequency and the input frequency is defined as the multiplier, whose value is an integer between 1 and 100.
This document introduces the PicoClock sample code, which provides the required software instructions on how to program the PicoClock instrument. This sample code can be used to generate either an input to the device-under-test (DUT) or a reference signal -- an essential part of any mixed-signal testing where high temporal precision is important.
