Description

This guide provides instructions on installing the PetaLinux SDK for developing Xilinx ML605-based Linux applications. Procedures include:

  • Patching the Linux host (CentOS 5.9 is used as an example host)
  • Installing the PetaLinux SDK and the ML605 BSP
  • Configuring the required environment variables
  • Testing the PetaLinux SDK Installation

The installation process is demonstrated with PetaLinux SDK v2013.04, the ML605 BSP v2013.04, and the Xilinx ISE 14.6.
