The wireless platforms available through CMC are powerful and flexible systems that can be used to implement wireless data acquisition and control networks. Used in a research environment, wireless platforms enable you to ‘untether’ your experimental research from the fixed test equipment in the laboratory and apply it to a broader range of environments such as mobile applications, harsh environments, small form factors, distributed sensors, etc. This application note presents an introduction to a framework that can be used to program microcontrollers in a low power, medium data rate wireless network environment.
